Subject:  Withdrawal of DEPB benefit on export of Skimmed Milk Product (SMP), Casein and any other Milk Product.



In exercise of powers conferred under Paragraph 2.4 of the Foreign Trade Policy, 2009-2014, the following amendment is made in the Schedule of DEPB Rates (as stated in paragraph 1.1 of HPB v1):

            Export of Skimmed Milk Product (SMP), Casein and any other Milk Product shall not be entitled for DEPB benefit either under Specific rate of DEPB in any of the product group or under Sl. No. 22C and 22D of the Miscellaneous Product Group, with respect to shipments made on or after 25.1.2011.


Effect of this amendment: 

DEPB benefit stands withdrawn for milk products for shipments with effect from 25.01.2011.
