Tin.nsdl has launched latest Return preparation utility for E-tds/tcs. The new RPU version 2.6 has been launched. This will help in preparing e-TDS/tcs challans and return from the financial year 2005-06 and onwards. The forms 24Q, 26Q, 27Q and 27EQ can be easily validated with this utility. The key features of latest RPU 2.6 are as follows.
- While import the challan in latest RPU 2.6, if there is some problem regarding challan, a red message will highlight saying statement contains unmatched challan will come on the screen.
- While importing the consolidated file in the latest version of RPU 2.6, if there is any problem regarding deductee PAN, an alert message in the red color will flash on the screen as statement contains invalid PAN.
- If there is any problem regarding amount, an error message in the red color will flash on the screen as amount exceeds the challan.
- The updation of PAN is allowed only once, if the user try to update more than once, an error message will flash in the red color on the screen that PAN updation is not allowed more.
